Dr. Ali Ahmed’s current broader research interests are in computer architecture (RISC-V), IoT, and information security. He has 10+ years of experience in the complete product development cycle of CoTs (hardware and software). His undergraduate students at MERL- UIT have taped out collectively nine RISC-V- based SoCs and other custom designs in open source Google Shuttle.
